Publishing

Hibiscus Publishing is an Independent Partnership Publisher of trade-standard books. Manuscripts are rigorously previewed, critiqued, and evaluated.

Manuscripts viewed as having potential in the Children’s Picture Book category [ages 3 to 8] or in a niche market are given additional review. An extensive written Critique and Guidelines are extended to the writer who is invited to respond and to commit to working with Hibiscus Publishing toward a manuscript “suitable for publication.” Then, an Agreement to Publish may be negotiated.

After a satisfactory Agreement to Publish has been negotiated and signed, Hibiscus Publishing begins the publishing process by selecting Project Partners for illustration, interior design, cover design, layout, several specific forms of pre-print editing, prepare print-ready files, and printing. • Only manuscripts submitted together with the SGF will be acknowledged
• Hibiscus acknowledges receipt of manuscripts by e-mail within 4 weeks
• Hibiscus does not accept illustrations or drawings
